Title.

Busy busy! Update, since it's been a while since the last one...

Will be filming a promo-spot for the Green Hornet next week. Am excited to finally get some shooting done, since I have been so busy with work and traveling lately. Everything has been going so great with production though, have some truly talented actors and a great crew to work with. Having fun on set is always a bonus for me, and we do just that. There's probably going to be more blooper scenes and stills than actual footage! lol.

Will be traveling to London at the end of October, but look forward to more Green Hornet stuff. You will definetly be in for a surprise with this show, not only amazing, but keeping it true to the radio and 60's television version. That, and the storyline and cast is awesome. Will keep posting when I get more info, until then!

Oh wow...

Just realized that I haven't updated this in a long time. Forgive me!

Things have been pretty hectic, not only am I working 2 jobs, but I also started production on the new Green Hornet mini/web series that is being filmed in Chicago. I landed the part of Lenore Casey, female lead and right-hand woman of the Green Hornet (If you've never heard of the Green Hornet, be sure to check it out, Kato was once played by Bruce Lee!). We have started some preliminary shots last month and are getting ready to film some more in the next month. This is going to be a great series (Not to be confused with the new Seth Rogan movie with the same title!) and is already being talked about on MTV's Splashpage!
Be sure to check out greenhornettv.com for more info, BIG news for that coming soon!

News, and such...

Got new headshots made, and they're terrific! Thanks Kearstin Nicholson of Siren Vanity for all your time and amazing work, the headshots look great! You can see the new shots on my myspace, http://www.myspace.com/kimberlyannebendix

Will also be attending an open casting at Lilly's Casting Agency on the 22nd, and hopefully many more after that!

Also, just got done volunteering some time at my Acting Studio for a fundraiser to give out a scholarship to a hard working actor who can't afford it (wink wink, nudge nudge, lol). The fundraiser turned out great, everyone had a great time, with great food, drinks and entertainment. Thanks to everyone who helped out, it was a blast!

Updates and craziness!

Hi there!

Whew! Just got back from London and I had an amazing time, got to see all the old buildings and culture and tried their food and had fun with the people there. All around a great vacation and learning experience.

In the process of setting up a photoshoot for new headshots, and also looking for a printer for these headshots, so if you or anyone you know is/knows a printer, please let me know too!

My last film, Myra, has finally been released and will be receiving the copy soon. It's projected to hit all the Chicago film festivals, as well as some in LA and even overseas, and i'm super proud of this role... I just hope it can one day be funded to be a full length!

That's it for now, Kimberly over and out!

The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are...

So to start off with, my name is Kimberly Bendix. I am an actress. Or "Ac-TOR" for all you shakespearian actors, lol.

I am 24 years old... I have been pursuing the craft since age 8. I have my mother to thank for my interest in acting. We would always go to the Patio Theatre over on Irving Park Rd. in Chicago, on Sunday's and watch the $1 movies, we would watch movies at home, or tv shows together. She enrolled me in Community Drama Classes at age 8 at the Independence Park Drama Center. My first play I was Santa Claus, and God's truth, I didn't want to do it. I cried my eyes out before the show, I was kicking and screaming to turn the car around. Now, you'll have to drag me kicking and screaming to get OFF the stage, lol. Funny how things change.

Since then I attended different types of training centers, including highschool drama, privately owned schools, etc. Right now I am attending the Chicago Actors Studio under Edward Dennis Fogell, and am enjoying my stay here.

I have been in a variety of independent movies, commercials, some tv, infomercials, voice over, etc. I have found that my one true passion is Film, but also love the Theatre. I would like to pursue my career in Film though, since my whole childhood was spent watching movies non-stop.
